Coquitos Acaramelados - Celebrating my special day with latin flavors

I decided to celebrate my birthday with some latin flavors!, I found a really easy recipe made with coconut flakes, condensed milk and sugar!, a very sweet way to celebrate my day.

Here is the recipe:

Caramelized coconut (Coquitos acaramelados)
3 cups of coconut flakes
1 can of condensed milk
Sugar for the caramel
Mix the ingredients in a bowl and cook for 15 mins, stir with a wooden spoon, make tiny balls and place them in a plate, insert 1 toothpick in the center of ball. Make caramel in another bowl, Dip coconut balls in one quick motion; let excess caramel drip off. Place them in a plate and refrigerate. Enjoy!

My Beautiful Embroidery Floss Organizer!!!

Thank you so much to Deborah from bookloverx2 on Esty, for making my beautiful embroidery floss organizer. The idea came from a picture on Flickr and I just wanted to have one, I think is a wonderful way to storage my floss, she added some ribbons to the design too, so I can carry it everywhere. It featured small pockets for needles and scissors. I can wait to have it!, I will take some pictures with all my embroidery floss so you can have a better idea how it works.
